This film was born out of a simple question:
“What movies make you feel at home?”
Looking across the spectrum of entertainment produced today, I asked myself: What movies leave me feeling good? What movies do I return to, again and again, to affirm my sense of self — to restore my sense of home?
Below, I’ve listed several of the movies that, for me, answer this question. Some of them are very old, some of them were in theaters just a few years ago. But all of them fill my heart and restore my confidence not only in myself, but in cinema as a whole.
I know that each of them will leave their mark on Sweet Confusion as I bring it to life. - B.R.
